We invite you to join us for an adventurous expedition of 4 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour that offers an excellent opportunity to explore the best of the southern part of Morocco. DAY 1 – Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
Today on this 4 days Fes to Marrakech desert trip, and in the early morning, you will go through the Middle Atlas to Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou. You will have a stop at the cedar woods for a visit to Cedre Gouraud Tree where you will see Barbary monkeys. From here we drive to the south going by a few towns and you will get the chance to see wanderers living in tents. You will also observe the volcanic rocks.
Our following destination is in Midelt where you will take your lunch. Later on, proceed with our drive via the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while observing the panoramic views. You will also cross Ziz Gorge and the tunnel.
When getting closer to Errachidia, you will see the Barrage Hassan Al-Dakhil which has turquoise blue water. Proceed with our drive to Erfoud, you’ll see a panoramic view of Aoufous Palmeraie along the Ziz River. Arriving at Erfoud and check-in at your lodging on the foot of the ridges. Supper and overnight stay in a Hotel.

DAY 2 – Explore the Desert Area & Camel Trek
After breakfast in the inn, our 4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech will set for a discovery expedition of the desert area, you will visit the nomads in their goat-hair tent and find out about the Sahara life. On this Fes Sahara Desert Tour, you will visit the Gnaoua people, initially, slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the chance to tune in to their music and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
Depending on what time you visit the Sahara, you may find the lake of Merzouga and its bird population, for example, the “Flamingos”. In the evening, we will drive you to the camp in the desert, to see the striking sand ocean of the Erg-Chebbi.
You will appreciate the excellence of the Sahara and the dusk over the brilliant ridges. After the nightfall, you will have dinner on the Berber way in the camp where you will spend your first night under the stars or in tents. Our camp contains western bathrooms.

DAY 3 – Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
We will wake you up very earlier to watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. You will trek back to your hotel where you can have a hot shower and get ready for the new journey.
We will go to Rissani, you will have a visit to Zawiya Moulay Ali Sharif and you may discover the Souk (local market) with the chance to see the Fondouks where mules gather. Proceeding on our drive toward Tineghir going by Erfoud “the capital of marble fossil”. On this Fes Sahara Desert Tour, you will see the Khatarat (Canal water system framework).
Our next stop is in Tinejdad or Tineghir where you will eat. Later on, we will proceed along the river to arrive at the Todra Gorges. You will climb/Walk through this dazzling spot while getting observing the high rock walls (up to 300 meters).
A while later, we drive to Boumalne Dades, towards the Dades Gorges where you will see the rock formations of “human bodies, fingers of monkeys”. Supper and overnight stay at the lodging.

DAY 4 – Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Today you will go to Marrakech passing by Boumalne Dades, Skoura, and El-Kelaâ M’Gouna. You will immerse in the views of the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, Skoura Oasis, and Valley of the Roses while driving.
We will stop at Ouarzazate where you may have a pause to see the Kasbah of Taourirt. It was developed by the Glaoui dynasty. From here continue to the town of Aït Benhaddou, lunch break in the place, and explore the outstanding Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou.
Later on, we will take you over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260 m), you will have chances to take photographs and appreciate the views of the High Atlas Mountains alongside Berber towns. Arrive at Marrakech and transfer to your preferred lodging. End of our 4 days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech.
