DAY 1 – Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
After landing at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque which is the third most massive mosque in the whole world. Take your breakfast and then we travel to Fes.
On-road stop and visit the capital political city of Morocco “Rabat” which overlooks the sea. On this Casablanca Desert Tours, you will see the crenelated red ocher walls, more than 5 km long in total and constructed in the sultan Yacoub el-Mansour era who ruled during this period, it gives the city a very special character that distinguishes it. You’ll also roam the medina and its lovely traditional souks which are much more authentic than others because the products of shops have turned to local customers.
Then we go to the Udayas Kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs that belong to the twelfth century. At that point we visit Hassan tower, you’ll see four awe-inspiring facades embellished uniquely in contrast to each other; three in shades of pink and one in gray because of the sea breeze. In fact, this tower is the remains of the old mosque, and next to the tower visit the Mohamed 5 mausoleum, a masterpiece of Moroccan traditional architecture, full of valuable materials from around the world and splendid decorations.
Afterward, return to the new town and visit the royal palace, the residence of the king of the Merinide dynasty. Then we depart to Meknes city, which like the other cities has a stunning view of the Medina. The tour begins at the walls of the monumental arched gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaine Bab, Bab Khemis.
Our exploration of the city to the attics (HERI), stables (Rua), and Stud. We also visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail which was the only mosque that non-Muslims can visit in Morocco; this mosque exits through the renowned Bab Mansour in the vast el Hedim square. You’ll find the Museum of Moroccan Art named “Dar Jamai” near the square, which has a wide variety of handicrafts, we reach Fes for Dinner & overnight in Riad.

DAY 2 – Full-Day Exploring Fes
After breakfast, you will begin investigating with a local guide the most ancient city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Visit first the seven Royal Palace gates, then the Jewish neighborhood which is the first Mellah built in Morocco during the 14th century.
Today, you’ll visit all the cultural and historical highlights including the famous Al Qaraouine University, considered the oldest one in the world, Mulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Tanneries. After a mouthwatering lunch, we visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Return to your riad overnight in the riad.

DAY 3 – Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
Today in the early morning leave Fes and travel through the middle Atlas via Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland”. In Azrou we visit the forests of Cedar and see the Cedre Gouraud Tree where the Barbary apes live.
At that point we drive south passing numerous Berber towns and a chance to see migrants living in tents nearby the way; also see the volcanic rocks. In the village of Midelt we’ll enjoy lunch, then your Casablanca Desert Tours, continue via Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) enjoying the panoramic views. Also, we go by Ziz Gorge and the tunnel. After breakfast in the hotel, you will start an explorative journey of the area, visit the nomads living in tents produced from goat hair, there you’ll find out about the Sahara life, a while later you visit the Gnaoua people, initially slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the chance to tune in to their music and find out about their way of life.
If you visit the desert at a specific time, you can see the lake of Merzouga with its bird population such as the “Flamingos”. In the evening, we go to the Sahara bivouac and find the incredible sand ocean of the Erg-Chebbi.
Indulge in the Sahara and see the sunset over the dunes and its golden beauty. Then take your dinner in the camp and spend your first night under the sky, or if you prefer in tents. Our camp provides western bathrooms.

DAY 5 – Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up by the call of your guide very earlier to watch the sunrise then enjoy breakfast. You will trek back to your hotel where you can have a hot shower and get ready for the new journey.
In Rissani village you’ll see the Zaouia of Moulay Ali ash-Sharif and you may also investigate the Souk (local market) with the opportunity to see the Fondouks where donkeys gather. Our Casablanca Desert Tours will continue toward Tineghir via the capital of the marble fossil “Erfoud”.
On-road observe the Canal irrigation system (Khatarat) then stop in Tineghir or Tinejdad to have lunch. Continue journeying in the spectacular landscape and cross the valley to the beautiful gorges. There you will hike/Walk on foot through this stunning place while observing the high rock walls (300 meters).

Today you will go to Marrakech through Boumalne Dades, Skoura, and El-Kelaâ M’Gouna. Appreciate the views of Todra Valley, the valley of the Roses, one Thousand Kasbahs street, and Skoura Oasis during the drive.
At that point, we stop at Ouarzazate to see the Kasbah of Taourirt (if time permits) it is constructed by the Glaoui dynasty. After Ouarzazate visit Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, having a Lunch break there, then investigating the fascinating Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou.
